The WP Symposium Pro plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a type of attack known as Cross-Site Scripting. This plugin, in versions before 16.01, does not properly sanitize or escape certain inputs, allowing attackers to inject malicious web scripts into a victim’s browser. This could have serious consequences such as identity theft or the installation of malicious software.
