The Simple Inventory Management tool, which allows users to easily manage products and orders by scanning barcodes, may have a security vulnerability. This vulnerability is caused by a missing feature that checks the type of file being uploaded in the ‘uploadFile’ function. This means that hackers without proper authentication could potentially upload harmful files to the website’s server, giving them the ability to remotely execute code.
