The TheCartPress eCommerce Shopping Cart plugin for WordPress had a security flaw before version 1.3.9.3 that could let a remote administrator access and read any file on a website. This was done by putting a special code (called a “”dot dot””) into the “”tcp_box_path”” parameter in the checkout_editor_settings page of the WordPress admin panel.
