Access violation vulnerability in Directorist: AI-Powered Business Directory Plugin with Classified Ads Listings 8.2

The Directorist is a plugin for WordPress that helps businesses create a directory and list classified ads using AI technology. However, there is a security vulnerability in all versions up to 8.2 that allows unauthorized people to access and change the data. This is because the ‘parse_query’ function does not have a capability check, which means that anyone can change the status of a post to ‘publish’ without being properly authenticated.
