Output validation vulnerability in Easy Digital Downloads – Simple eCommerce for Selling Digital Files 3.0.1

The Easy Digital Downloads plugin for WordPress is not secure in versions up to and including 3.0.1. Unauthenticated attackers can send a special type of data called an “”untrusted input”” which can cause the plugin to make changes without permission. This is known as a “”PHP Object Injection”” and it allows attackers to inject their own code.
