The SV100 Companion plugin for WordPress has a security issue that allows unauthorized users to change important information without permission. This could result in attackers gaining higher levels of access and control over a website. This issue affects all versions up to 2.0.02, and can be used by unauthenticated attackers to update settings and give themselves administrative privileges. This means they could register as an administrator and take control of a vulnerable website.
