Input validation vulnerability in Page Builder: Pagelayer – Drag and Drop website builder 1.7.8

The Page Builder: Pagelayer – Drag and Drop website builder plugin for WordPress has a security issue in all versions up to and including 1.7.8. An authenticated user, with contributor-level or higher permissions, can inject malicious web scripts into webpages. This would allow the malicious code to run whenever a user visits the page. This security issue has been patched in version 1.7.7, however it has resurfaced in the latest version.
