The Image Hover Effects plugin for WordPress has a security vulnerability that can be exploited by attackers with administrator-level permissions. It allows them to add malicious scripts to pages that will run whenever someone visits them. This vulnerability only affects multi-site installations and those where extra security measures have been put in place. Versions up to and including 5.3 are affected.
