Access violation vulnerability in Quick Featured Images 13.7.0

The Quick Featured Images plugin for WordPress has a security issue that allows unauthorized changes to be made to data. This is because there is no check in place to ensure that only certain users have the capability to set or delete thumbnails. As a result, anyone with contributor-level access or higher can delete or add thumbnails to posts that they did not create.
