The WP-Addpub plugin for WordPress has a security issue that allows hackers to access sensitive information from the database. This can happen when an attacker, who is logged in as a Contributor or above, adds extra code to the existing code in the ‘wp-addpub’ shortcode. This vulnerability exists in all versions of the plugin up to 1.2.8.
