Input validation vulnerability in wordpress vertical image slider plugin 1.2.16

The WordPress Vertical Image Slider Plugin, which is used to create slideshows of images in WordPress websites, is vulnerable to a security threat called Reflected Cross-Site Scripting. This security threat makes it possible for unauthorised people to inject malicious code into a webpage, which will be executed by anyone who visits the page. The vulnerability exists in versions of the plugin up to and including 1.2.16, due to inadequate protection of the input and output of the plugin.
