Input validation vulnerability in Coming Soon Page – Responsive Coming Soon & Maintenance Mode 1.5.8

The Coming Soon plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a type of cyberattack called SQL Injection in versions up to and including 1.5.8. This vulnerability is caused by a combination of not properly escaping user supplied data and not properly preparing existing SQL queries. An attacker with administrator-level access can use this vulnerability to gain access to sensitive information from the database.
