Input validation vulnerability in Subscribe to Category 2.7.4

The Subscribe to Category plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a type of cyber attack called SQL Injection in versions 2.7.4 and earlier. This vulnerability occurs when the plugin does not properly escape a user supplied parameter and does not sufficiently prepare an existing SQL query. As a result, malicious attackers can add additional SQL queries to the existing query, which can allow them to access sensitive information stored in the database.
