Access violation vulnerability in User Profile Builder – Beautiful User Registration Forms, User Profiles & User Role Editor 3.10.8

The popular WordPress plugin, User Profile Builder, has a security vulnerability that allows unauthorized individuals to change important data without permission. This is because the plugin does not have a proper check in place for the ‘wppb_two_factor_authentication_settings_update’ function in all versions up to 3.10.8. This means that hackers who are not logged in can manipulate the 2FA (two-factor authentication) feature, which is only available in the premium version of the plugin, for any user role they choose.
