The Post View Count plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a type of attack called Cross-Site Request Forgery. This plugin has not been updated to fix this issue, meaning versions up to and including 1.8.2 are affected. This type of attack can occur if a site administrator is tricked into clicking on a link. This can allow an unauthenticated attacker to invoke a function on the plugin without the administrator’s knowledge.
