The Burst Statistics – Privacy-Friendly Analytics for WordPress is a plugin for websites powered by WordPress. It is vulnerable to a security issue called ‘SQL Injection’ in versions 1.4.0 to 1.4.6.1 (free) and versions 1.4.0 to 1.5.0 (pro). This vulnerability makes it possible for people without permission to access the website to extract sensitive information from the database. This is because the plugin does not properly escape user supplied parameters or prepare existing SQL queries.
