Input validation vulnerability in ShortPixel Adaptive Images – WebP, AVIF, CDN, Image Optimization 3.6.1

The ShortPixel Adaptive Images plugin for WordPress had a problem with versions up to 3.6.1 that allowed someone to put malicious code on a website. This code could be used to gain access to a user’s information if they clicked on a link. The problem was caused by the plugin not properly checking and protecting the input and output of the website.
