Input validation vulnerability in ActivityPub 0.17.0

The ActivityPub plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a type of attack called “Stored Cross-Site Scripting” in versions 0.17.0 and earlier. This means that attackers with permission to contribute to the site can inject malicious web scripts into pages of the website. When a user then visits a page with the injected script, it will run and cause harm. To prevent this, administrators should upgrade to a version of the plugin with improved security measures.
