The AffiliateWP plugin for WordPress, up to and including version 2.14.0, has a security vulnerability that allows someone with a subscriber-level account or higher to activate additional plugins that they should not be able to. This is because a required capability check is missing when the ‘affwp_activate_addons_page_plugin’ function is called via an AJAX action.
