Input validation vulnerability in ImageMapper 1.2.6

The ImageMapper plugin for WordPress has a security vulnerability which could allow unauthenticated attackers to manipulate the post titles of a website. This could be done by tricking a website administrator into clicking a link and performing an action. The vulnerability exists in all versions up to and including 1.2.6 as the ‘imgmap_save_area_title’ function does not have adequate protection against malicious requests.
