Input validation vulnerability in Contact Form 7 – PayPal & Stripe Add-on 2.1

A popular plugin for WordPress, called “Easy PayPal & Stripe Buy Now Button,” has a security vulnerability that could put websites at risk. The issue affects all versions up to 1.8.3 of the plugin and also impacts “Contact Form 7 – PayPal & Stripe Add-on” up to version 2.1. Essentially, this means that if a website administrator is tricked into clicking on a malicious link, an attacker could potentially change the plugin’s settings and manipulate the connection to Stripe. This could lead to unauthorized access and potential harm to the website.
