Really Simple SSL 2.5.21 ready for betatesting

Today 2.5.21 was released for beta testing on https://github.com/rlankhorst/really-simple-ssl. We welcome any input on this new release!

This release is already extensively tested without any issues, but we love to get your input!

  • The output buffer that handles the mixed content fixer is now flushed on the wp_print_footer_scripts hook. This will make the mixed content fixer slightly faster. For our tests regarding speed, see also this article.
  • In a few cases, other plugins can cause errors on the flushing of the rewrite rules on activation. This prevents activation. To remedy this, the activation now has the added option to activate without flushing the rewrite rules.
  • On multisite, the filter that handles the home_url (checking if it should either be http or https), does not run when the FORCE_SSL_ADMIN constant is defined. In that case, the plugin assumes it should always be SSL on the backend.
