I activated the Real SSL plug-in and I am finding out that it is conflicting with my Yoast SEO redirects that are http from my research. The site now times out (www.zipandbounce.com) I can not log-in to my wordpress it times out, the FTP times out as well. How do I deactivate this plug-in??? Thanks!January 5, 2019 at 8:12 pm #157321RogierKeymaster
A plugin can never make an FTP account unreachable. If you have trouble connecting to your FTP, I would recommend to contact your webhosting company. When you have access with FTP, you can follow these steps:

The site was live and working correctly until I activated the plug-in…January 5, 2019 at 9:08 pm #157332RogierKeymaster
The plugin can of course affect the website. For example if you have a redirect to http, this could cause a loop. But this can never affect FTP access. That said, I do not see a redirect loop or something on your site which could be caused by Really Simple SSL. When I ping your domain, I get a “could not resolve host”. This suggests there is an issue with your DNS server.
If your FTP is unreachable, this is probably caused by the same thing, which has nothing to do with plugins on your site. I would recommend to contact your hosting company about the domain not being resolved.
