Love the plugin but one quick question.

Once we have an SSL certificate installed on a website, is there a best way to force SSL. The reason I ask is some websites don’t have an SSL installed but when you visit their website, Google Chrome doesn’t put a ‘Do not enter warning’ page up, I take it this is because the website isn’t forcing SSL. So I guess my question is, is there a way to force SSL but if you do accidentally let it expire, have your website simply say ‘Not Secure’ without the Google Chrome warning page showing up.

    Hi Joe,

the do not enter warning only occurs when the site is on http:// and isn’t redirected to https://. If you have a redirect to https:// and your SSL certificate has expired, the site will show a not secure warning with warning page. There’s no way around this, with an invalid SSL certificate a warning page will always be shown.
