KeymasterHi Brian,
it’s possible your site uses an invalid SSL certificate. Could you enter your domain on https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest and check if it is valid? Really Simple SSL (Pro) is not an SSL certificate itself but a tool to configure your site for SSL, the plugin requires a valid SSL certificate before it can work correctly.

ParticipantHi,
When I add sites to my Really Simple SSL account it the “box” defaults to “http://” should I add the “S” or leave as is. I do already have SSL Certs although they are dead much of the time for one reason or another.
Thank youSeptember 7, 2020 at 8:11 am #450329Mark
KeymasterHi Brian,
does this happen on your account page when activating a license for a site? Could you try to activate a license via the Settings->SSL->License menu to see if that works?

ParticipantHi, Mark:
The free SSL of my website: sungatehealth.co.nz expired 6 days ago ( not really-simple-ssl) and I installed really-simple-ssl pro yesterday but the website still shows it’s unsafe.
I checked the setting of SSL it shows: SLL has installed in my website, but one problem: Cannot detect mixed content due to a curl error. Fix: curl error 60: peer’s certificate has expired. Curl errors are usually caused by outdated versions of PHP or curl, but they don’t affect the front end of your site. Please contact your host provider for repair.
So the only thing i need to do is contact my host provider? Am I right?

KeymasterHi Luo Ming,
Really Simple SSL is not an SSL certificate. Please check this article for instructions to install an SSL certificate:
