My website is sometimes showing up not secure other times secure.
I have installed and activated Really Simple SSL on my wordpress website:
However it has not been able to correct an unsecure http url and convert it to https.
If you right click on the home page go view source, you will see the bad url on line 88.
Why no padlock says this:
Hard Failure A file with an insecure url of “http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans%3A300italic%2C400italic%2C600italic%2C700italic%2C800italic%2C400%2C300%2C600%2C700%2C800&ver=4.9.8” was loaded on line: 88 of https://www.southshorebeef.com/.
This URL will need to be updated to use a secure URL for your padlock to return.
Please help by advising how to fix this.
I tried to use the WordPress editor to locate the file. I looked in stylesheet but have been unsuccessful in knowing how to find and fix the URL.
Please advise, thanks for the help.

Firs, you should check if the mixed content fixer is active:
If it is active, you can track down the remaining mixed content by following these steps:

On your site the mixed content fixer is not active:
This can either be caused by caching, a conflicting plugin, or caching. Please check steps 3 and 5 of the article, to see if this helps.

Hello Rogier, thanks for the information.
I have tried to deactivate the plugin WP super cache, enabling the “switch mixed content fixer hook” option in Realy Simple SSL plugin then activated SSL Insecure Content Fixer plugin but all these have not worked for me. Please help, thanks.January 24, 2019 at 8:42 am #162382
the images that are causing the mixed content are hosted by your CDN provider (http://cdn2.spoutable.com/units/video_showcase/img/icon_close_retina_white.png). Possibly the CDN configuration still thinks your site is on http://, updating it to https:// might resolve your issue.

Hi Mark, thanks for the reply. My website is http://www.liveroger.com please help me to have a look at it. I cannot see it please.May 16, 2019 at 8:49 am #225788
the site does seem to be working now. There are still some http:// references on your site, for example: http://thumbnails.infolinks.com/thumbnail.jpg?domain=12.cat.infolinks.com. You might have to update your infolinks configuration with the https:// domain to let them know you site should now only show these ads over https://.August 16, 2019 at 1:38 pm #262970RODGERS ODIMBAGuestAugust 17, 2019 at 8:32 am #263447
I just checked these sites, both seem secure now. Do you still have issues?
