Debuging log shows the following error:
* Mixed content fixer
SSL is not yet enabled for this site
** Detecting configuration **
plugin version: 3.0.2
Check SSL by retrieving SSL certificate info
I have also put $_SERVER[“https”] = “on”; in the wp-config.php file as well but still its not working.
My website is http://www.desire2develop.com/
By putting https in the start gives warning that your connection to this site is not secure.July 16, 2018 at 8:40 am #112387
the site seems to be working fine on SSL now, do you still experience issues?

Im having the same problem if anyone would be willing to help. Ive added the “S” after http in the settings general area of wordpress, after doing this everything broke. The website is http://www.aedarby.comJuly 17, 2018 at 9:04 am #112641
the domain currently returns a ‘not resolved’ error, this might indicate that something is wrong in the DNS settings.If adding the ‘Sl’ is the only change you’ve made, you might be able to revert that and make the site address http:// again. We recommend to not change the site address manually, Really Simple SSL can do this for you (and make other necessary changes at the same time).

Thank you for your response! Could you let me know what I should do at this point? Is it simple as changing the DNS Settings in the CPanel of my Hosting Provider?July 17, 2018 at 11:31 am #112663
the www version of the site currently returns a ‘not resolved’ error, while the non-www domain returns an error 500. Both these issues have to be resolved. You can check in your DNS configuration if the www version points to the right IP address, or contact your hosting provider to let them check it for you.
In regards to the 500 error on the non-www domain, this can be caused by a number of things, often it is a plugin that is not working correctly. To determine this you can enable WordPress debug logging by adding the following to your wp-config.php file:

Hi. having the same problem… want to know if you can help me. my website is http://www.datosycafe.comJuly 18, 2018 at 8:19 am #112891
the site uses a certificate for another domain, see https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=www.datosycafe.com. To fix this, you can install a certificate for datosycafe.com, that should allow the plugin to detect SSL. Once the Qualys SSL Labs SSL Scan checks out you can safely activate SSL.
