    i meant a lock that was not green, but had warning signal on it (!). i had an answer on the wordpress forum (from you?), it is a cache issue, from the css,
    so i’m trying to solve it.

    Also had this problem. Disabling my cache plugin did the job.

    Hi Guy,

    this error can occur when there’s a different plugin flushing the rewrite rules at the same time as Really Simple SSL. Usually pressing activate a couple more times will allow the plugin to activate SSL.

    In our case, the problem was the plugin Wp Optimize.. Desactive it, active Really Simple SSL and after you can reactivate Wp Optimize.

    My issue was from W3 Total Cache on WP 5.2.2.
    Disabled that and kept refreshing the error page and it went through eventually.
