I loaded the certificate up at ccbookings.org, went through the various processes, clicked on the go button for Really Simple and the site broke – it wouldn’t load: with the interstitial just keeping on rolling.
I removed Really Simple by changing the folder name in ftp and that let me see the site front end but once I started trying to login to WP, the login in button just reloads the login page.
Any ideas?August 18, 2016 at 1:39 pm #13748RogierKeymaster
Really Simple SSL changes, the WP siteurl and homeurl, and .htaccess, which are not removed if you simply rename the folder. To deactivate, the best way is to use the remote deactivation script: https://really-simple-ssl.com/knowledge-base/uninstall-websitebackend-not-accessible/
Change the url to match your renamed plugin directory.
If that doesn’t work, you can also do a manual uninstall: https://really-simple-ssl.com/knowledge-base/when-the-built-in-deactivation-does-not-work-manual-uninstalling/
If you have issues with activating Really Simple SSL, it’s best to check your certificate with http://www.ssllabs.com/ssltestAugust 18, 2016 at 3:32 pm #13749simon hardingGuest
