SSL

Over 500.000 active installations of Really Simple SSL!

This week I noticed Really Simple SSL has passed half a million active websites, and is download over 2 million times! Pretty cool! So I have to thank you, for supporting Really Simple SSL! We have received 312 reviews, of which 296 are 5 stars. I really appreciate all your reviews and feedback.

This huge user base, together with an increasing group of pro users, enables me and Mark to dedicate all our time to work on further improvements for the plugin. Really Simple SSL should be a solution for all WordPress users, on all servers, be it multisite or single site, domain mapped or regular setup.

Even though some parts of the plugin, like the mixed content fixer are pretty “finished” for now, there are still things I want to improve on:

  • Check for expired or common names issues on certificates
  • Redirection check before activation
  • Automatic sitemap regeneration for Yoast users on activation

As all developers know: it’s never “finished” šŸ˜‰

If you have any suggestions for improvements, let us know!
